COULD IT GET ANY HOTTER?!!!

It's our first summer in the South and let me tell you, it makes you want to die. I can not believe how hot it gets. And whats worse is it's sticky outside to. The humidity is a killer. We spend a lot of time in doors or in the kiddie pool. But it is beautiful here. I can't believe how green it is. This time of year in California everything is brown. Of course this is the raining season here.

So much is going on right now. Jason had to leave us to go do some leadership training in Texas. He left in the middle of July and is due back in mid-September. Then shortly after he left we found out we are expecting our third child this spring. We are so excited. Faith says she wants a baby brother, I told her she needs to talk to daddy, that's daddy's department. Then Emma turned a year old. My little baby is one. I can't believe it. They really do grow up so fast. Emma is still a tiny thing, but she can hold her own against her sister. Emma doesn't take much flack from Faith. They are so cute together. And most recently Faith started Ballet class. I know I'm a little biased, but SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!! I love the way she looks in her little outfit. Her first recital is in May. I can't wait.

Life couldn't be any better (except maybe if we were all actually together). We are looking to both sets of parents visiting us this fall. Wait till they see the girls. They're not going to want to leave. We are excited about celebrating our first Christmas in our new home. I have already started planning out the decorations. Jason is really "excited". He calls himself the donkey. I'm management. But before we get that far ahead, the next thing coming up is Faith's 3rd birthday. You heard me right 3rd!!!! I can't believe it. She isn't a little baby anymore. Sometimes I just look at her and I can't believe she is the same kid that I gave birth to in Germany. She is a little Chaty Cathy. She especially loves to talk to people on the phone (mostly her daddy and her Grandma). She loves to pretend to put on make up and play mommy to her dolls and her sister. I have to remind her at least once an day that I'm the Mommy. She is really beautiful. Both our girls are just the greatest things that have ever come into our lives. I don't know what we would do without them (wait, yes I do, sleep :).
