That's What Ya Get!

So after being sick for pretty much the last month (I came down with Strep, twice, a cold and a sinus infection)I finally got my slightly smaller booty back into the gym yesterday. Jason had been so sweet letting me get back on my feet and not pushing the issue. Then we got to the gym. Now I usually push myself pretty good on my cardio sessions. Trust me running in a pair of tight pants with a million people staring at your jiggly booty(OK really its like 20, but were talking about my booty so it feels like a lot more), is a really good motivator to push a little harder. That way next time a little less of me will jiggle, at least that is what I tell myself. Anywho, I digress. So cardio went great. Got a good sweat on and was feeling pretty good about myself. Then Jason and I did our weights session. The man was just brutal to me. We did shoulders and legs yesterday. Jason had me do this one shoulder exercise and I thought my arms were going to fall off. I could barely lift my arm to put the weights back. Now this morning I feel like that, but a million times worse. But I guess that's what I get for taking a month off. And I know that I'll thank my wonderful hubby later when my shoulders are totally awesome looking. I love you baby!!!

It's a Christmas Miracle!!!

So I guess it takes a Christmas Miracle for me to finally update the blog. Let me say that I am completely amazed at the people who are so good about updating. I get so busy living our life I forget to write about it (which is why I am a horrorable journal keeper). Just a REALLY quick update about what we have been up to since my last post (warning: picture overload).

The girls started school back on August 11th. Faith is in Kindergarten and Emma goes to Pre-K. I love only having two kids at home. I seem to get more of my errands done, plus the boys get to play without any bossy sisters around:).

So you all know how much I just "love" spiders. One night Jason was outside and saw this on the side of the house. It took an entire can of bug spray and smashing in with a shovel to kill this thing. Imagine this thing crawling on your face, AAAAHHHH!!!!!

In September I participated in my very first craft fair. It was a long day, but it was fun. I made cards and sold them in packs. I ran a booth with a few of my girlfriends who are super crafty.

Faith lost her first two teeth this year. Her two bottom front teeth were lose and she had been grossing me out with them for awhile and I was about to just pull them out myself when, one day she and Charlie were playing dog (don't ask). Faith had Charlie's blanket in her mouth and Charlie yanked in out. Next thing I know Faith runs over to me with her mouth covered in blood. The blanket had ripped out the loosest of the two teeth. The next day I convinced her to let Jason pull the other one. We just tied a piece of floss around it and he pulled really fast. She didn't even realized her tooth was out until we showed her. She is now working on looseing her two front teeth.

September also brought Hyrum's First Birthday. My littlest man turned one. I can't believe it. Time has just flown. He is the only one of our children who wouldn't eat his cupcake. We tried everything to get him to eat it. He just doesn't like sweets. He did love playing in it though.

October brought Faith's Sixth Birthday and Halloween. Faith had a sleep over for her party. She invited her friend Kaya and they had a wonderful time staying up late and getting up early. I don't know how they do it. Happy Birthday Beautiful. Halloween was fun. The kids all picked out their costumes this year. They were so cute. Charlie was so funny. I think he just liked saying Trick or Treat and getting to dress up as Thomas the Tank Engine. The kids made out like bandits. They had so much I made Jason take some (when I say some I mean two five pound bags) to work.

Faith also got to bring home the Class Stuffed Animal, Ollie, one weekend. She had so much fun taking him everywhere we went. He even came to church with us.

November brought some good things and some not so good things. We'll start with the not so good. Jason was in a car accident. He was on his way to he VA hospital for his allergy shots and was hit on the front right side of the car. He was fine, but the car, not so much. We now have the car back and hopefully will never have to go through that again. I'm glad you're safe sweetheart. We love you.

The good was that Mom and Dad W came out to see us for Thanksgiving. It was a WONDERFUL visit!!!! We did not want them to go. We had so much fun just hanging out and relaxing. We went to Atlanta (where they flew into) and surprised them. We were so happy to see each other. We had great talks, great food, and we even played the wii. They also helped us get decorated for Christmas. The girls even got their own Christmas tree in their room. We only wish they could have stayed longer. It was a much needed vacation for all of us. We can't wait to do it again. We love you both so much. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving even better.

While Mom and Dad were here we gave Hyrum his first hair cut. I have to admit I was a little sad. He had the softest hair I have ever felt. I loved it. Now he has next to no hair. He did pretty good considering he was only 14 months old. None of the other kids had their hair cut that young.

Well, that brings us to December. Yeah, Christmas!! We did a stay at home Christmas this year. It has been so wonderful. The kids have gotten to play with their toys all day and Jason and I have gotten a chance to relax as well (which means I got a chance to blog). Santa's helpers were up till 2 am putting together their toys and were awoken at 7:30 am. The boys were still asleep when we got up to go downstairs. They weren't too happy about being woken up. It took Charlie a few minutes to realize what he was seeing when he came downstairs. Once he realized he got to open presents he was a happy little camper. All Hyrum wanted to do was eat (gets more like his daddy everyday). It was a wonderful morning. After that we had a wonderful breakfast. I have never seen our children eat so quickly. When we told them that they couldn't go play till they ate their breakfast they practically inhaled it. Then Jason, the boys, and myself all took a nap after that. I love doing nothing with my family. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year. My New Year's Resolution is to be better about blogging.

Some random notes:

Saw New Moon (on opening night, that's right 12am showing) with my friend Amy. So awsome!!

Made my first few table runners. I can't believe that I made them!!! I love sewing!!!

Won two awards for my Christmas cookies (Jason's work had a cookie contest. Don't mess with me I know my cookies).

We had our yearly family photos taken (thanks Jay and Sherrie, we miss you).
