We left off in April with my sisters visit. After they left, Jason went back to work for a few days and then it was off again. This time to Georgia. We needed to check on the property we still own out there. "Auntie" Katrina watched the kiddos for us while we got to have another few days to ourselves. We stayed with our good friends The Lindquist's! They were so sweet to put us up for our stay. The house looked great and we got to meet the renters. We also got to spend some time with all of our great friends out there. First I had a girls night with Jessica Lindquist, Cari Winn, Cindy Correa and Jennifer Sharpe. We had a kid free dinner (except for Cari's new baby Max, who was so yummy I almost ate him. Seriously he was such a good baby) filled with lots of talking, yummy food and laughter. Wish I could have brought them all home with me. The following day we had a party at a local park and got to see several people from our old ward. It was great to catch up and see how everyone was doing. That night Jason had a guys night at Adventure Crossing. Surprisingly and much to my relief no one was too badly injured or arrested. They played laser tag and drove go carts (ok, let's be honest they more like crashed into each other A LOT, on PURPOSE). They had a great time acting like giant kids. Jason really needed that. I haven't seen him that happy to be sore in a long time. On Sunday we attended our old ward, the Harlem Ward. It was so great to be back. I didn't realize just how much I had missed everyone. That night we enjoyed a lovely dinner with our Georgia Mom and Dad, the McDonald's. We and the Lindquist's spent the rest of Sunday night playing Uno attack. What a great game. Laughed so hard I about wet myself. We loved it so much we bought one of our own upon our return home. Great memories were made. It was wonderful trip. We are looking forward to making it again next year. Once again no pictures, I know lame.
Nothing much happened in May except for school finally letting out for Summer. This school year seemed to drag. We are now looking forward to lots of time spent playing outside, running through sprinklers, going to 7 peaks (it's the water park out here), camping and two big things. 1) The newest member of our family should be arriving soon. We are soooo close. Everyone is getting excited, but I think Emma might just be the most excited one. She is looking forward to holding and cuddling her little sister. In other big news, WE'RE MOVING! That's right, we found a house we just fell in love with. We will be moving a few weeks after the baby gets here, yes we are crazy. Moving with a new born will be an adventure, but at least it's a local move. We're moving about 25 minutes north of where we currently live. The name of the city is South Jordan. We are very excited. This should be our last move until we die! The location is great, not only does this cut Jason's commute time down by half, but we're closer to all the good shopping and we're now closer the Shriners Children's Hospital. We are so very blessed. Everything is turning out better than we could have hoped. Here is a picture of the front of the house and some other random cuteness. Hope you enjoy and I'll try to not go so long between posts again.
